Having to fill a void that should’ve been a summer full of new faces, encounters and international projects I’ve decided to join forces with Eveline Briand and Gladys Ferro to shine light on a part of a generation of rappers in my hometown Leuven, Belgium.

Chinoir, Yung Trapson & Zulu22 are guys that are used to wear joggings all day long and record songs in their home studio. They felt an urge to step out their comfort zone and wanted to create some crazy pictures. For Chinoir and Trapson’s editorial we mixed their love for art with their love for streetwear as Daily Paper and Casablanca.
As they are all young artists, Eveline Briand also used pieces made by young designers as Lisa Konno.

Zulu’s editorial had a deeper connection to his roots. His surname is Shaka, and his friends call him Zulu, referring to Shaka Zulu: A king of the ancient Zulu Kingdom. Inspired by this story we created a modern day Shaka Zulu, mixing the reuse culture and traditional clothing of Africa with streetwear and the love for luxury brand logo’s. Gladys Ferro made these logo’s come to life on Zulu’s face.
